Whatever you call it...

I will call it #foreveralone as inspired by Cheesie in one of her most recent entries. Err... I almost cried when I was reading her entry. Okay, I wasn't really in an emotional mode but somehow, what she wrote really made me thought about a lot of things.

As the matter of fact, I was about to delete this entry already because I have really been busy trying to finish up my thesis these few weeks because I'm lacking of time. I need to graduate by this semester because I freaking don't want to pay another few thousand bucks for the fees next semester. My life is pathetic... I feel pathetic too, especially when I am working on my thesis alone and having no one to even tell me, "C'mon Angel, just a bit more and you'll be done with it!"

No motivations, no inspirations and #foreveralone!

Even now, as I am re-blogging about this entry, I've spent the entire morning at my faculty's library and since it has closed an hour ago, I moved to the main library because first of all, nobody would teman me as most of the friends are either busy working or busy with their lives. I only got to see BFF for like 2 hours for breakfast and after sending my sister off to work, there I go again - it happens every single day - #foreveralone!!!

I get a lot of that-kinda-look when people ask me, "Hey, when are you gonna get married?" My only question is, "No boyfriend, how to get married?" Then, when I answer their question with another question, they would forever reply this is sweeping statement that I forever hate, "You're ain't getting any younger for goodness sake!"

Stupid questions with redundant answers!

I mean, you know the answer already, why keep on asking me the same questions when I am also paranoid about the phobia of having to grow old and die alone?

I don't hate weddings or anything, in fact, my ultimate dream job is to become a wedding planner aside from a doctor, which is clearly not achievable because I don't have what it takes to become one - I scream at the slightest cut so, how do you expect me to stitch a wound?

Then again, just for your information, I love attending weddings and hearing church bells. In fact, I kinda know why I get those kinda questions all the times...

Friends of my age are either getting engaged, married or even having children when I am still bumming from one place to another, having no freaking job and still studying. FML! For the past 20 years minus the initial years of being too-young-for-school, I have been studying non-stop.

This is certainly NOT the kinda achievement I want in my life if you were to ask me but at the same time, I am thankful I have achieved so far in my studies.

No, I don't think having this achievement is a blessing in disguise or anything because there are certainly more influential and wealthier people who did not have the chance to attend schools but they made it big with their hard work and perseverance.

It is freaking annoying when you get statements like these from people around you...
"You are a girl, why do you need to study so much? Get yourself a man and marry him!"

"If you were to study PhD. for sure it'll be harder to land yourself with a man."

"It must be you're too choosy that no guys could match your criteria."
"When you complain about guys who don't look good, remember they're criticizing you as well."

What is freaking wrong with you all???!!!

I am perfectly fine on my own and I do not need anyone to preach me with what-they-think-is-correct philosophies even though I admit, I do feel lonely especially on Friday nights and weekends.

Just like Cheesie has mentioned in her blog, yes, I eat 2 to 3 meals alone everyday because stupid sister is working and I don't get to see her from Monday to Saturday except when she returns home from work.

It is embarrassing to admit but having been where I am today, aside from being in 4 different relationships that never lasted longer than 2 months. Not that I am materialistic or expecting something but sometimes, a small gesture is enough to show you care about your partner but I have never received gifts, flowers, teddies, bla, bla, bla from any pursuers before.

Sad, right?

Oh, I have something... at least Sam proposed to me even though it wasn't real but at least he made up for what both of us missed out on 9 years ago. Wait, wait... I did have this cute deco - a gift from Sam when we were 17.

Okay, at least not so pathetic.

Yeah, so... when I still looked like that, I thought to myself, "One day, I will meet someone who will not say I am fat and accept me the way I am and then, I'm gonna marry him and live happily ever after."

Oh, boy... what a simple mind I used to have!

Well... I did not meet any guy when I was still looking like that because guys around me were more interested in hotter, slimmer and sexier girls.

Hence, I've decided, I should have a new resolution... Ito lose weight.

When I have lost weight, I still cannot find Mr. Right, with passing time, I begin to blame God for my freaking pathetic life.

I told one of my BFFs about it that God has forgotten to include my ultimate wishlist of meeting and marrying the right guy when He created me. When I was still fat, I couldn't find the right guy and when I've lost weight, I still couldn't find him - I blamed God.

I am not as lucky as those girls out there who can splurge like crazy. When I say crazy, I mean spending few thousands a month just on shopping alone! Again, no luck with great careers because I am still stuck in university like now and yeah, thank you God, no luck in finding love.

Don't tell me not to blame God or anything because you are NOT me and you will never be me to understand what I've gone through to be where I am. Those who have it, they don't appreciate it, those who don't have it, no matter how much they want it, they'll never get it.

Stuffs like, "Your time will come and by the time it comes, he will be the BEST guy for you!"

Honestly... stuffs like that are CRAPS!

Good stuffs come to people who wait patiently? Have you ever heard of the Mandarin sarcasm that goes 慢慢等 or it can be directly translated into slow-slow wait? So, if you wanna wait, you go ahead and wait because time and tide wait for no man!

Anyway... I should stop complaining here because well... I have come to term with the state of my life at this point of time already.

#1 - you won't die without a boyfriend.

#2 - graduating is your priority.

#3 - traveling around the world is a must.

#4 - dolling yourself up is not for the sake of others.

#5 - landing yourself with your dream job is your main goal.

So, lonely? Fuck lonely, yeah!

I just have to find something to do... Lonely in UM library? You bet but... I am checking out the guys here!

Stage Picture Perfect Liquid Camouflage

Update - I freaking HATE blogger even more now - why does it keep on re-adjusting my picture when I want it horizontally, it automatically adjusted it to fit in vertical mode? Fucking hate it! I tried re-uploading but it didn't help at all!

Okay, first thing first... I was really busy doing some Christmas shopping for the past few days because, yay... I am done with my thesis and after some editing here and there, Imma gonna be free for the rest of my life! So... I spent my weekend doing some shopping, hence, the MIA from cyberworld.

Anyway, perhaps, I am the last to find out but, two months ago or so, when I went out for a shopping trip withe stupid sister, I found out L'oreal Base Magique is already retailing at our local drugstores like Watson, Guardian and Sasa.

I intended to try this one but since I still have my Monistat Chafing Relief Gel and left with half tube of it, I won't be purchasing any primer any time soon.

Another product that is being raved by a lot of beauty bloggers, vloggers, bla, bla, bla... Maybelline The Falsies Volum' Express Mascara.

I don't know if I'm gonna try out this mascara or not because my ultimate HG mascara, Maybelline Pulse Perfection is no longer available as it is a limited edition mascara. FML... how am I gonna survive without it? Perhaps, The Falsies will be my next alternative. We'll see, we'll see.

So, for today, I'm gonna do a quick review of what I think about Stage Picture Perfect Liquid Camouflage.

Before I even got interested with this concealer, I was into any sorta cream concealer because I need heavy camouflage around my dark circles since they are hideous and liquid concealers for me, can never do any justice.

Stupid sister got one of these earlier and out of curiosity, I tried it out and well... decided to love it, hence, I went to Stage to purchase two of them, of course from different shades because well... you know, girls can never get enough of makeup and I love experimenting with new stuffs!

These are the two shades I've bought - Ingenue Genie and Temptress.

Lemme try to describe both of these shades. Ingenue Genie for me, has yellow undertone to it. It is slightly more yellowish and darker if compared to Temptress. As for Temptress, it has more pinkish undertone to it - it looks lighter and pinker. LOLX!

I wanted to mix both of the shades but since I forgot, ah well... you'll just have to bear with me because I'm gonna do a simple comparison between these two shades.

~ See, did I tell you not, I freaking hate blogspot? ~

Upon blending these two shades of concealer onto the back of my hand, I found out Temptress actually melted into my skin tone and boohoo... no trace found. It's a good thing if you foundation works like that but if you have dark circles, its not a good thing.

As for Ingenue Genie - it looked way darker! I thought to myself, "Shit, this stuff is gonna make my dark circles look more obvious!!!"

I was wrong...

It ended up Temptress did nothing to cover my dark under eye circles but Ingenue Genie actually camouflaged it pretty well!

As for the blendability if you're asking me - this stuff works like dream to blend with. It melts into your skin like butter and it's not oily at all - I didn't even use mattifying powder or anything to set it, yet it did not set on my fine lines!

So, I guess I'll be going back for this concealer soon just because I freaking love it and since I'm gonna use up my Maybelline Angel Fit Concealer soon, I'm obliged to prep myself for the use of this concealer. Hahaha.

On the other hand, this product is NOT magic, so, don't expect too much if you have worse under eye circles than mine. Cream concealers would be a better alternative though but if you just wanna cover a little bit of your imperfections here and there with a natural and lighter coverage, this product is good.

Check out Isabel's review on this concealer here.

Pros
Blends like a dream - easy to work with. Coverage is light to medium depending on how much you want it but for a natural look, a little goes a long way.

Cons
Packaging sucks a bit. Since the formula for this concealer is more of liquidy form, if you don't store your concealer upside down, the content is gonna spill like crazy when you open the cap!

Those are my two cents but please don't quote me for anything. What works for me may not work for you. Hence, you've gotta experience with it first.

Price - RM55 but I got it for buy 2 at RM20
Product - 4 out of 5
Packaging - 3 out of 5
Availability - Stage Cosmetics @ Midvalley or Tropicana City Mall
Re-purchase - Yes, yes, yes!!!

Have you tried this concealer yet?

** Product is bought using my own moo-lah, I am not sponsored or anything.

BB cream collection

You know what?

I think blogspot is BITCHY!

I kept on trying to get the pictures in the correct orientation but blogspot memang MCB! It kept on auto-orientate my pictures and I couldn't even do anything about it! FML! I have intention to move my blog elsewhere already - any better suggestions besides xanga or wordpress?

Anyway, I shall do a research later.

I'm gonna share with ya'll my BB cream collection!

You know, back then, when BB cream first became famous in Malaysia, I went hype over it too. I even told my brother about it and he went, "What does BB cream stand for?" I told him it stands for blemish balm or beblesh balm. My sarcastic brother then replied, "Oh, I thought it stands for big breast cream - the cream you apply and then, your breasts will become bigger."

Yeah, right!

Anyway, after some time, I have decided not to tag along with the hype because my first BB cream was from Skin79 and I still have it because the shade is just too light on me and it gives the ghastly white effect.

No likey...

Then, I ditched the whole idea of purchasing BB creams for quite some time because I was hooked to my Stage Picture Perfect Foundation. I still am using this foundation if you are wondering.

Alright, let's talk BB cream language, shall we?

Okay, first product - Skin79 The Oriental Gold BB Cream Plus.

Do you remember me blogging that I don't really like it? Yes, I still don't like it even though when I first started using it, I was like, "Uh, it's an okay product."

I love the packaging of this BB cream because it's GOLD and yes, baby, I totally dig GOLD because I am materialistic.

Another thing that I adore about this product is because of this...

A beautiful rosy cream blush!

Yes, you didn't see wrongly - it comes with a cream blush, very subtle pinkish rosy blush!

However, there's one thing I don't like - the pump... It's messy!

On the whole, I don't think I will be re-purchasing this BB cream because I've decided to give up on it due to the lousy effect it has on me - gave this to stupid sister because she is obviously fairer than I am.

Price - I got it for RM80 inclusive of poslaju - well, don't think it's worth the money. There are definitely BB creams with better formula out there.

The second BB cream in my possession is Etude House Collagen Moistfull BB Balm.

Err... I have yet to start using this since I purchased it early this year... The reason why I bought it was because Etude House was having sales and instead of RM69.90 originally, I got this for RM49.90 only.

I am not sure how this product performs but we're gonna find out real soon, I promise!

It basically looks like the above picture... nothing spectacular about the packaging but I totally appreciate it that although there's one sponge included for the application, still, Etude House is kinda enough to include another free sponge in the product itself.

My third BB cream is from Etude House as well - Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream.

I guess quite a number of people raved about this product in the past. I heard from my students just few years back that this BB cream did wonder to their skin and they loved the effect. Back then, I wasn't so exposed to Etude House or anything, hence, I didn't bother to check it out too.

This BB cream is supposed to give sheer glowy effect if you'd notice. I am not sure how this thing performs because, it's still new.

I know, I have quite a lot of BB creams in my collection - I won't be opening a new one unless I am done with the current one. So, I guess I will start with the Moistfull BB cream first for now. This will come later.

This BB cream is retails at RM69.90 only. Well, this certainly is not the most expensive BB cream because I have seen BB creams from Lioele and Tony Moly that retail for around RM89.90 to RM120 or something like that. I got this for half of the price because, it was time of the promotion where you buy one, you'll get one free.

Last but not least - Hanskin Caviar Gold BB Cream.

I am not sure if you can find the review of this BB cream online or not because I have tried and the results of the searches all directed me to the tube form of this product but hey, this BB cream of mine doesn't come in tube form... it basically looks like this...

Bottle with pump!

There are differences between this packaging and the packaging in tube. The most obvious difference is that this BB cream that I own has SPF25++ whereas the tube form only comes with SPF21++ hence, you have to figure out where to google for it.

I am not sure where you can get this product because mine was given to me by my ex-boss. She went to Korea for a five-day trip and came back with this BB cream for me.

Not sure about the price too.

However, I was at CociCoci last week and although they don't have this particular product, they still have other range of Hanskin BB creams. Their prices? I think it's around RM89.90 to RM129.90 probably.

So, those are all the BB creams that I have now.

Which one should I start using first?

Velvety Christmas

Update 1 - I am finally done with all the findings in my thesis and finally, I'm proceeding to Chapter 5 so, after that, Imma gonna be free from all these tortures and sleepless nights!

Update 2 - I will be doing editing for my thesis from now on, so, wish me luck and pray for my success!

I have this habit of starting to pack my luggage two weeks prior to my trips to any places, especially if the trip is to places outta Malaysia - well, you have gotta get a lot of stuffs ready. If you don't know yet, you've gotta get your Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) converted and FML this is the only amount I've gotten after I converted RM650 into Singaporean Dollar!!!

~ Specimen only - I put designs on it because I can't find the correct sign ~

Go and figure out how much I have gotten if the conversion rate is RM2.468 to SGD$1. My housemate was asking me, "Arh, you only get SGD$250++ from RM650? Enough or not?"

Truth be said, it's not enough but again, truth be said the second time, it might be enough because I don't need to pay for accommodation. Now, comes the toughest part - mum warned me, "I warn you, NO SHOPPING allowed in Singapore!"

Okay, no cash - never mind, I'm sorry, mum, I'll use the cards instead. LOLX! Hahahaha... shhh... don't tell her about this...

Ah... Christmas is coming in another 10 more days.

So, are you feeling Christmassy yet?

If you have yet to feel so... here's something to inspire you with. A number of different Christmas looks with just one lipstick from the infamous Michelle.

So, I was inspired to re-create one of the fun lip looks from her tutorial.

*drums roll*

Taa daah... The velvet glimmer!

Please note that I am just trying to re-create this lip look with my own touch and I do not claim that I look like the talented Michelle Phan nor do I have the intention that my recreation would be 100% same as hers!

So, here goes...

Finally, I got to know where all the Hollywood superstars get their velvety shimmery lips from - just add a bit of gold eyeshadows to your red lips and voila - your lips will photograph really well and look prettier and fuller in real life!

If you have yet to watch Michelle's tutorial yet, here's the video!

Enjoy the remaining of the weekdays while I'll go and finish up my thesis now!

Problems with pores?

As much as I hate to admit it, I wasn't born with perfect skin nor do I have problem-free skin. When I was younger, I had had terrible acne outbreaks for several times and with oily skin, things weren't good as I started to develop habit of squeezing the acnes, pimples, whiteheads and also blackheads.

Over a period of time, I started to notice ugly, enlarged pores appearing right before me. Eeew... Back then, I knew for sure, I deeply regretted squeezing those monsters because if I didn't squeeze them, I wouldn't end up with the terrible skin that I have now - FML!

I guess it's never too late that I realize the problem I have - enlarged pores, pores, pores!

I changed my skincare products around 2 months ago to counter against my skin problem with the hope that these enlarged pores will be gone or maybe at least having the sizes decreased.

I was at Etude House earlier and I was kinda fascinated with this HUMONGOUS toner!

When I say HUGE, I do mean this product is damn huge! I kid you not! Just look at the picture taken below - I was comparing the size of this toner to the size of my face.

See... for this much product, you only pay RM49.90 per bottle - how can that be not worth it, right? The best thing about this product is actually NOT it's performance because I don't think it shrinks my enlarged pores at all, no, no, no...

The best thing about it is the smell - heavenly smell!

I am addicted to the smell.

Nah, here's the English version of the explanation on the packaging. Now, you must say I am nice, okay?

LOLX!

Anyway, let's move on into my personal thoughts on this product.

By far, I don't see any shrunk pores at all - I don't think this product is actually working on me. So, I don't think I will even bother to repurchase it since, yeah, right, a lot of product - worth it but hey, it's NOT working on me!

Before you jump into the conclusion and bitch the hell outta me, do bear in mind that I wash my face twice every day and that includes applying toner, serum and moisturizer so... no, that product still doesn't work.

On top of that Mini Size U Toner, I included this product as well!

It's the Tony Moly Floria Pore-Tightening Essence.

The BA kept on telling me this product for sure will work but it'll work even better if I were to purchase the whole range.

You're kidding me? Whole range costs for than SKII Facial Treatment Essence, hello! I am not idiotic enough to splurge on the whole range!

This bottle alone costs RM109.90 and I tell you, the serum costs around RM129.90 so if you're gonna splurge on Tony Moly, I'd advice you to go for SKII instead.

Again, these are just my thoughts - products that doesn't work on me, may work on you so, if you're curious, try it out but don't put the blame on me if it digs a hole in your pocket, okay?

Like I've said, second month into using it, still not much effect seen - no shrunk pores as well so... you know, I know...

Sighs...

It looks like Imma gonna need to save for SKII instead.

Stage Cosmetics Holiday Look

You know what?

Stage Cosmetics should really sponsor me because I am doing this look using like 99% of the products from Stage. Hands down that Stage Cosmetics is one of my favourite makeup brands ever because their products are wonderful and best of all - affordable!

So, for this Christmas this year, this is the look I will be going for - bet I would be able to attract few attention in the church this year. Haha.

These are basically the products I've used.

Yes, I've used majority of the makeup products from Stage Cosmetics.

My plan is to do a neutral not-so-attention-seeking smokey brown eyes because I am planning to go for BOLD red lips. Okay, maybe just red without the bold word. LOLX!

On usual days, I always do my foundation and concealer routine before applying eye makeup unless I am going for all glittery glitters, then, foundation and concealer will come last. These are my HG face routine products.

Stage Picture Perfect Foundation in Doll
Stage Photo Pro Creme Camouflage
Stage Prime Time Eye Perfecting Base

After those liquidy liquid product, I will set the foundation and concealer with my favourite pressed powder from Clinique - well, not shown here.

The next step is to do my ugly and unruly eyebrows using Stage Eyebrow Pencil in Sesame.

After the brows, I will proceed to the eyeshadows. So, from what you can see in the first picture, I am only using 3 different colours.

Canary as the highlight and also to apply this on the inner half of the lids. I love canary. It isn't exactly a white shade but it has this tinge of yellowish finish to it.

The second shade is Bahamas which is a medium taupey shimmery brown.

I apply this shade on the outer lids of my eyes bringing it towards my crease to give an uummph effect.

The final shade is Espresso, which is like 2 to 3 shades darker than Bahamas - matte brown.

Espresso is used to darken the outer V for a more defined and dramatic look. I don't wanna be the center of attention for Christmas, hence, I'll go easy on it.

Then, it's time for eyeliner!

Stage Liquid Eyeliner is one of my all time favourites. The shape of your eyeliner depends on your personal preferences. I like to give the effect of bigger eyes, hence, I always extend the length of my eyes by using a liquid eyeliner.

After that, using an angled liner brush, dip it into Espresso to connect the eyeliner to the bottom lash line for a defined eyes.

Gah... so many steps just for a neutral look? Girls will forever be girls.

Finally, to get the glittery holiday look, I apply this glitter eyeliner on the lower lash line. Is it called lash line? Geez... I can't remember.

However, if you hate glitters - it's optional. I just thought I could add a touch of a more fun look by adding this into the look.

I always hate curling my eyelashes because they are almost invisible, hence, after mascara, I'll apply false lashes.

I couldn't find my more natural looking eyelashes, hence... well... you know, I know. Hahaha.

Second last step - choose your favourite shade of blush - mine is Snapdragon from Stage.

Finally - I have to fix my ugly hair. Bad hair days, they are always around - hahahaha...

So, here's the final look for the holiday season!

Oh, if you're wondering - I did not edit the pictures at all, so... expect an ugly me. LOLX!

Oh, ya... red lips - I love my Chanel lipstick!

Well... no Christmasy feel yet? How about adding another touch to it?

I stole Santa's hat!

I am pretty sure he's upset in the North Pole now, trying to search for his lost hat.

My makeup storage - updated!

Previously, it was something like this...

I think I did blog about it before but I guess I forgot to tag or label the post, hence... hahaha... never mind, never mind.

I've got a new makeup storage and this time around, I am glad I've gotten it because it enables me to travel around for my freelance thingy easily now!

Taa daah...

My new traincase and yes, it was a deal when I got it - around RM100. Best of all, when I opened it up after I got home, I found two bottles of nail polishes inside!

Cetak rompak OPI nail polishes. Hahaha...

FOC is good but I don't think it's FOC since it might be the seller actually forgot to take these out of the traincase. Hehe.

Will blog about the organization of my new traincase after I sort things out.

Ciao, people!

Smoochie, smooch!

Update - NYX products can now be bought at Colours Cosmetics if you are from Malaysia and Singapore!

It's two more weeks to Christmas and I'm feeling great - feel like going shopping but then again, boh lui to spend because yes, I am saving for my Singapore trip. It has been 2 years since I last got out of Malaysia and I can't wait to visit Singapore!

*whistling smurf song*

Okay, as the title has said, this entry is gonna be all smoochie smooch, smooch!

It'll be an entry on lipsticks and lip glosses, so... if you're interested, read on because I will be adding my personal touch to those reviews you've read online because what I like may not be the same as others. At the end of the day, you will be your own judge.

P/S - Warning! Long entry with lotsa pictures ahead!

I am not particularly anal about lipsticks, lip glosses or even lip liners but then again, it doesn't mean I will put on every lipsticks out there in the market, especially from the night market where you can get tons of ciplak MAC products. LOLX! My lips are forever dry and sensitive so, if I go wrong with the lipsticks or anything, I'll get chapped lips the next day. Still... yeah, as long as the lipstick is moisturizing enough with average staying power, then, I'll be good with it.

I do believe every girl has her own HG lipsticks or anything. Well, I have mine and sad to say, it's kinda wasteful but then again, I always categorize my HG lipsticks into three different categories in accordance of their prices - affordable, average and high-end.

Let's take a look at what I have in my affordable range.

Affordable Lipsticks

Anything for me that is around RM5 to RM20 would be considered affordable because well... I don't really splurge on lipsticks since I get them FOC most of the times from my aunt and cousins. So, if I do buy lipsticks of the affordable range, it has to be under RM20!

My first choice would be Essence Lipsticks!

Well, these are basically what I have in my collection. I got two of them to try out initially and ended up liking the formula because they're QUITE moisturizing even though the lasting power isn't long - probably around 2 hours or so, then, you'd need to reapply.

Among the four shades that I have, I dig Frosted the most because it totally gives you the frosted lips that I love whenever I'm going for smokey eyes. I don't know about you but I kinda like frosted-looking lips with smokey eyes. It always gives the uumph effect that I want.

Here are pictures of these lipsticks applied on my lips. Please be warned I wasn't wearing any makeup that day because well... bad skin condition, hence, I've gotta go easy on makeup.

From what you can see in the pictures, there is a tinge of colour in every shade but the shades aren't pigmented enough if you were to compare to other brands but hey, with only RM9.90 for each lipstick, what else can you complain, right?
Essence Stay with Me Lip Gloss kinda does it job the BA claimed when I asked her the other day. She told me, "It'll stay with you as long as you don't eat or drink."

Right... no eating and no drinking will kill me! Hahahaha... but other than that, I'd say the staying power is probably around 2 hours too.

Best deal - it retails for RM9.90 as well.

I'd say this is not really the best lipgloss ever because it does feel sticky upon application and you all know no one likes sticky lip glosses.

Next up are lips' products from the infamous brand - NYX.

Go langgar dinding if you're among the online beauty social circle and you have yet heard about NYX. LOLX!

Those are the only NYX lips' products I own because I sold off my RLS in Strawberry Milk as it looked too pale on me.

Take a second look at the picture above - I can't believe I am almost done with Whipped and Sorbet - I can't wait to finish them. Hahaha. I didn't take pictures of these two lip glosses because Eki wears them all the times and she looks 100 or 200 times better than me with these lip glosses.

NYX Round Lipgloss has been discontinued in the official NYX website but you can still get them from ULTA, Cherry Culture or Nonpareil Boutique for around USD$2 each.

Check out my swatches!

Lemme start with the ultimate love from NYX lips' product - Lip Lacquer Pot. I kid you not when I say I love his lipgloss cum lipstick. I don't know whether this product is supposed to be a lipgloss or lipstick but anyhow, it works great on me!

It delivers the subtle pinkish glow any girl would love if you get the same shade as mine - Sweet Pea. Very moisturizing and best of all - I have yet to regret getting this product although I hate the inconvenient packaging that requires a lip brush to dig out the product. It is kinda not hygienic for lips' products to be packaged in a pot without any scoop or anything.

Have you ever face the problem of not being able to test out the products before buying them? Well... a bad purchase of mine...

NYX Round Lipstick in Honey.

Sorry that I made a mistake in labeling the shade.

When I was choosing the right nude shade, I didn't expect Honey to turn out so damn nude that I almost look like a girl without lips whenever I apply this shade. The shade isn't true to what you see on NYX's official website. It is extremely opaque!

If you're going to nude out your lips in order to prep them for other lip colours, then, this shade will do great but if you're gonna wear them alone, it's a big NO, NO! On the performance, it doesn't really last like up to 6 hours but it does last longer than those lipsticks from Essence. They're moisturizing enough if you have dry lips like mine!

Average Lipsticks

So, average for me are lipsticks that retail for around RM30 to RM50. Anything above RM50 for me would be categorized under high-end range.

My pick would be those lipsticks from Stage Cosmetics. Well, what can I say? I love Stage Cosmetics because they're like... one of the best brands ever in Malaysia.

I actually have more than these two lipsticks from Stage but well... I have yet to officialize them yet. Hahaha... Oh, their lipglosses are wonderful but yes, I haven't started using them yet since I'll finish up my NYX lip glosses before using new ones.

Audrey basically comes from the most moisturizing line of lipstick comparing to it's other counterparts. The only down to this line of lipstick is that it doesn't last and when it actually dries up, it'll leave residues on your lips. I don't know about others but it happens to me.

Other than that, I'm perfectly fine with it - the pigmentation is okay and lasting power is average too - probably around 3 to 4 hours if you don't go around and mess with it.

As for Buff Belle, it comes from Stage's Matte collection and basically all shades from this collection are matte!

On the first swatch, I was petrified with how dark Buff Belle looked on hand but when I actually applied it on my lips - it looked wonderful and somehow, it has this nice vanilla scent to it. Hahaha... I'm anal over scents!

The staying power of the lipsticks from the matte collection is longer than the others. So, if you want something that last up to maybe 5 to 6 hours, try this out.

Both collections of lipsticks retail for RM45 at Stage Cosmetics.

High-End Lipsticks

So, any lipstick that goes beyond RM50 for me would be considered dead expensive because on an honest account, I don't go around purchasing lipsticks of high-end brands but if the products work on me, I might consider to re-purchase them.

Enough say.

I bet ya'll will have this image of maybe this...

It's natural... Whenever I drop by Midvalley, the first ever counter I see in Jusco is Chanel... Never have I thought I would end up with one of the lipsticks.

What I have with me is the Chanel Rouge Hydrabase in Aventure.

Yes, I didn't splurge, okay? I got it as a Christmas present and I am really digging this lipstick so much that I don't guarantee I won't be re-purchasing it.

Can you see the tip of the lipstick? I've been wearing this so much ever since I got it 2 to 3 weeks ago and gosh... I should really go easy on this expensive lipstick.

LOLX!

Aunt said it retails for around AUS$30 so, probably, it'll be around RM70 to RM80.

This lipstick, just as it's name suggests, super moisturizing and bet you don't know, it can last up to 8 hours without re-touching! Hahaha... mind you, 8 hours for me and not for anyone else because I tend to skip food and drinks if I'm wearing red. I guess you could probably say the shade is kinda pigmented too.

Next up is the Christian Dior Voyage Collection Lipstick.

I am sorry if you didn't get it because it was released a few years ago and it was a limited edition. So... my bad if I am tempting you. Hahaha.

The shade I have is 255 and I don't exactly know the name since it doesn't come with the name printed on the lipstick.

All I know is... I love the pinkish shimmery tone of this lipstick even though it feels dry on my lips. It's not moisturizing at all but still, I don't mind using it since the shade is so pretty!

I forgot the price - it could be somewhere around RM70 to RM90 per lipstick. I can't remember. That was like 3 to 4 years ago! Hahaha... Don't worry, this lipstick is still good and it doesn't smell awful at all.

The last lipstick that I have - Clinique Long Last Lipstick in Creamy Nude.

I guess all of the girls can never have enough nude lipsticks! Hahahaha... After my first failure with NYX Honey, I turned to my cousin who was a BA for Clinique, Australia for advice and she introduced this shade to me. Best of all, she got this shade for me and I need not pay a single cent to get it. Hahaha.

If you're interested, it retails for USD$14.50 and please don't ask me about it's price in Malaysia because I really don't know.

This lipstick does last quite long - 6 to 8 hours as well and you are not gonna believe it's moisturizing effect, I tell you! The moisturizing effect is miraculous - it glides like magic and it stays like your faithful doggie. Hahaha.

Anyway, here is a swatch of all the high-end lipsticks I have.

So, what's your favourite lipsticks?

Before I end this entry, just something extra to share. Here's a picture of the products finished in November 2011. I'm gonna gear up to finish all that I own so that I can buy new ones. Hahaha.

On another note, I almost forgot I have this palette already until stupid sister digs it out of my stash few days ago!

Holy cow! It's the infamous Urban Decay Book of Shadows 4!!! Hahahaha... Is it 4 or is it 3? LOLX! I can't remember at all.

The eyeshadows are untouched and I have forgotten all about it because I dig my Naked Palette so much!

Enjoy the rest of the week, people!
